These ideas, developed through years of research, may be helpful to a student learning about Spanish, but the same themes often work well in a composition or essay about another language.
English speakers are used to hearing terms like 'esprit de corps'linguistic uniformity.' But what do these words mean? And are they really synonymous with working together to speak the same language?
One of the main points of this type of essay is to show that all students are exposed to the same vocabulary and language patterns. It isn't enough for them to know how to read and write each of their own language's individual characters. They need to develop an ability to speak them. Second, it is important to bring one's own voice to the page. Although students do not need to copy every idea from their instructor, it is helpful to be able to practice and show off one's own style. Students may be able to connect with their teachers, but they will enjoy doing so much more when they feel that they are writing a project of their own.
